Toggle Switch Boot

The APM Toggle Switch Boot is a durable and reliable protective cover for toggle switches, designed for use in tough environments. Made by APM Hexseal, it shields switches from weather, salt spray, and other harsh conditions. This full boot fits over switches with 15/32″ diameter mounting stems and standard-length handles.

With an IP68 rating, this toggle boot offers strong protection against salt spray, sunlight, ozone, fungus, dust, and most acids and oils. The boot is made of silicone rubber that meets ASTM D1418 GR50 standards and is usually gray, unless specified otherwise. The mounting nut is brass, nickel-plated for corrosion resistance.

The boot can withstand extreme temperatures, ranging from -80°F to +400°F (-62°C to +204°C). It also handles internal pressures up to 15 psi and external pressures of 1500 psi. Built for long-term use, it offers a minimum of 50,000 actuations and has a shelf life of over 25 years.

This toggle boot is UL and ULC recognized to UL Std. 5, making it a trusted choice for protecting toggle switches in industrial and commercial applications.
